My European Vacation

I have been away for the last 2 weeks and just wanted to share a few photos of my amazing trip.  My husband and I started our journey in Paris and then travelled to Austria and finally finished off in London.  It was amazing and some of the places we saw were so breathtaking.  I definitely missed photographing all of those sweet babies and thank you all for being patient while I was away.  I will probably overload you with new blog entries over the next couple of days! 

Here is a photo of Salzburg, Austria.  You can see Festung Hohensalzburg up on the hill.  We climbed many stairs and hiked quite a distance to get this photograph.  We also got caught in a down pour right after it was taken but it was all worth it in the end.

This next one is of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. 

You will all recognize this next photo.  We visited the Eiffel Tower at night to see the twinkling lights and then we returned the next day to climb all 668 stairs!

This last one is me in the gardens at Chateau de Versaille.  We had an amazing afternoon visiting the French countryside and even had lunch in the gardens.  It was definitely a trip of a lifetime!

   

Baby Haley

I absolutely fell in love with this baby girl.  She was the sweetest little newborn to photograph.  I could put Haley in any position and she would open her eyes for a second and then fall right back into a deep sleep.  Not once during the session did she need to be fed or changed.  In fact, at the end as I was packing my equipment away, she fussed for a second and her Mom fed her.  As I was leaving their house several minutes later, she was back asleep already!  James and Heather, I know you have been anxiously waiting for a little preview of the photos and despite the fact that I am in another continent at the moment, I had a few minutes tonight to post these.  I can't wait to show you the rest of them!  You have a gorgeous baby girl and I am so thrilled for the two of you.

 

Baby Will

This little man was much happier snuggling with Mom and Dad than being naked on my bean bag or in my baskets.  Could you really blame him?  So, we just followed his wishes and got lots of fantastic family shots.  And what a beautiful family this was!  I still can't get over how teeny Will was, especially for being 3 weeks old.  Usually these blog posts are specifically for the parents but I know Will has an extended family who are anxiously waiting to have a glimpse of the session as well.  So, for Melissa, Adam and the rest of the family, here is your sneak peek!

 

Lil' Man Huycke

Huycke was such a dream to photograph.  It was hard narrowing down which photos to keep because they all turned out so well.  I have never seen such an expressive little guy.  He was laughing, smiling and giving the most intense looks at the camera.  I swear he should be a baby model... he is just such a natural!  He is Baby Jane's cousin and I am sure they will have loads of fun growing up together.  Erin, I had such a great morning hanging out with you and Huycke.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
